Members of Saturday Night Live have responded with skepticism to Elon Musk's upcoming appearance on the show.

SNL announced on Saturday that Musk will appear on the show on May 8. Musk is the CEO of Telsa and SpaceX.

Musk tweeted about his upcoming appearance, saying, "Let's find out just how live Saturday Night Live really is."

Cast member Bowen Yang responded to Musk's tweets, saying "What the f--- does that even mean?"

A second cast member, Andrew Dismukes, also responded to the announcement about Musk, saying that the "ONLY CEO I WANT TO DO A SKETCH WITH IS Cher-E Oteri."

A cast member and an SNL writer — Aidy Bryant and Sudi Green, respectively — also both shared a post from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) criticizing sharp wealth inequality.
