After an aggressive confrontation with a Jewish family, a Spirit Airlines crewmember was removed from a flight when she caused the entire aircraft full of passengers to deplane.

The flight attendant attempted to force the family to leave the plane because their 2-year-old child who was sitting on the lap of her 7-months pregnant mother would not wear a mask while eating. Claiming that the pilot wanted them off the plane, the family, who had a special needs child traveling with them, objected by pointing out they were following the rules.

The entire incident was captured on video from the beginning of the situation.

Though everyone on the flight was deplaned, they were allowed to re-board, and Spirit apparently removed the trouble-causing flight attendant. Still, the airline got caught attempting to blame the incident on the Jewish parents, saying they did not comply with the mask mandate themselves.

When the video demonstrated that the flight crew had targeted the child and not the parents from the start, Spirit deleted its tweeted statement.
