Two men have been arrested after their assault of a man and woman in Hialeah, Florida, was captured on the couple's Ring doorbell camera. As the victims arrived home after a night out, two assailants ambushed them as they approached their front door.

Yacel Ramos, 30, pressed a gun into the back of the man's head and said, "No te muevas [Do not move]." His accomplice, 34-year-old Maikel Diaz shoved his gun into the woman's stomach, pulled her hair, and threw her to the ground. As Diaz held the woman at gunpoint, Ramos pushed the man into the house, stealing his gold chain and bracelet.

Somehow the man was able to fight his way back out the door where Diaz pistol whipped him repeatedly in the head. He did the same with the woman, striking her three times with the pistol and leaving her motionless on the ground.

At one point in the video, it appears that Diaz attempts to shoot the victims, but his gun does not fire when he pulls the trigger. The woman charges the man and knocks him to the ground.

Both victims are expected to recover.

Because the home surveillance cameras and Ring doorbell system were able to capture images of both assailants, they were identified and arrested quickly by police. Both men are being charged with robbery and home invasion with a firearm, as well as aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
