The New York Times has continued to ignore a bombshell report showing a connection between a Chinese spy and several prominent California politicians, including Rep. Eric Swalwell (D) of the House Intelligence Committee.

The report, released by Axios on December 7, detailed how Chinese operative Christine Fang used personal charm, campaign fundraising efforts, an extensive networks of associates, and sexual relationships to get close to political leaders.

With her influence inside Swalwell's circle, Fang was able to place an intern in his office, take place in his fundraising activities, and attend his high-profile events. Swalwell reportedly cut connections with Fang in 2015 after learning of her activities from federal investigators.

Former Bush press secretary and Fox News contributor Ari Fleischer noted the total lack of coverage from the NYT on Friday.

A search Monday of the NYT's site regarding any coverage of Swalwell over the last month showed the same result.

🔦 Swalwell, who was featured by the media as one of President Trump's largest critics in stories on Russian collusion in the 2016 election, alleged last week that Trump was behind the Axios report.
