Despite the Department of Homeland Security assuring on Thursday that the 2020 election was "the most secure in American history," former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, who was recently hired by President Trump's campaign, has said that it has collected sufficient evidence to "overturn election results in multiple states."
The claim came in response to what Powell indicated were mountains of evidence of voter fraud and irregularities.
"We're getting ready to overturn election results in multiple states," Powell said. "I don't make comments without having the evidence to back it up."
The Trump campaign appears to be alleging that it has evidence that the elections software used in areas across the country switched "millions of votes" from Trump to Biden. That, she said, makes sense out of an otherwise inexplicable reality of Republicans flipping 11 seats in the House of Representatives, maintaining control of the Senate, but somehow Joe Biden winning the presidency with more votes than any candidate in all American history.
Powell referenced a whistleblower who claims to have seen the Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic systems, both of which were used in the 2020 election, designed to "rig elections…in other countries."
"They can stick a thumb drive in the machine, they can upload software to it even from the Internet … from Germany or Venezuela even," Powell said.
She said that the system allows votes to be shifted "in real-time" and can be accessed remotely.
"We have so much evidence, I feel like it's coming in through a fire hose," Powell said, adding that the entire scheme will be revealed in court.
