Trump calling sports heavy hitters Mark Cuban, Roger Goodell, others to advise on restarting sports, economy

President Trump has announced he will be consulting a slate of major stakeholders in professional sports on restarting sports and the American economy.

"We have to get sports back," the president said at the White House Tuesday.

Trump has mentioned contacting Mark Cuban, owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and an outspoken critic of the president; NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell; UFC president Dana White; NBA Commissioner Adam Silver; New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft; as well as the commissioners of the NHL and MLB and representatives of NASCAR, Major League Soccer, the PGA, the LPGA, and the WWE.

Trump said he will be consulting some in a group and others individually.
