President Trump slammed Justin Trudeau as "two-faced" on Wednesday when asked about the Canadian prime minister being caught on a hot mic appearing to gossip about Trump with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron at bilateral NATO meetings the previous day:

"Well, he's two-faced," Trump said when asked if he'd seen the video.

After a long pause, Trump added,

"And honestly with Trudeau, he's a nice guy. I find him to be a very nice guy. But you know, the truth is that I called him out on the fact that he's not paying two percent, and I guess he's not very happy about it ... He's not paying two percent and he should be paying two percent. It's Canada, they have money ... He should be paying more than he's paying, and he understands that."

The president then abruptly canceled a planned news conference with reporters in London, saying he is headed back to Washington.
