President Trump will sign an executive order on Wednesday clarifying that the 1964 Civil Rights Act protects college students from anti-Semitism.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects against discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin. Trump's order will stipulate that Title VI, which bars discrimination in programs receiving federal assistance, also protects against anti-Semitic acts.

The Republican Jewish Coalition thanked President Trump for the executive action on Wednesday, asking supporters to sign a petition expressing gratitude for the order.
