No money from the federal coronavirus stimulus package will go to President Trump's businesses, according to details of the bill released by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Legislators and the White House finally agreed early Wednesday morning on a $2 trillion stimulus package, which includes a specific ban on any Trump businesses receiving stimulus money. The bill also prohibits businesses owned by the vice president, members of Congress, and members of Trump's cabinet from receiving funds.
A Senate vote on the bill is expected later Wednesday. The House must also approve the bill, if it passes the Senate.
