Former President Donald Trump promised to travel to Alaska to campaign against Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) in her re-election bid next year.
"I will not be endorsing, under any circumstances, the failed candidate from the great State of Alaska, Lisa Murkowski," Trump said. "She represents her state badly and her country even worse.
I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be — in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator.
Her vote to advance radical left democrat Deb Haaland for Secretary of the Interior is yet another example of Murkowski not standing up for Alaska."
Murkowski was one of seven Senate Republicans that voted to convict Trump in his impeachment trial in February, which at 57-43, fell 10 votes short of conviction.
🔦Last month, Trump said he will "back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again" and "America First" policy "where necessary and appropriate."
