President Trump tweeted on Tuesday that he has told his representatives to stop negotiating with Democrats on further coronavirus relief spending until after the election.
He made the decision to end negotiations for now because, he said, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi "is not negotiating in good faith."
The president also wrote that Republicans "will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Businesses" after he is victorious in the November election. He added that he has instructed Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to direct his attention to confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
