During his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, President Trump took aim at Joe Biden's pro-abortion policies.
"Joe Biden claims he has empathy for the vulnerable, yet the party he leads supports the extreme late-term abortion of defenseless babies right up to the moment of birth," said the president.
Biden has repeatedly expressed a desire to establish abortion as a constitutional right according to federal law, repeal bans on abortion funding overseas, and give tax dollars to abortion facilities. After Biden selected Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate, the pro-life Women Speak Out PAC released an ad decrying the two as "the most pro-abortion ticket in history."
During his speech, Trump went on to affirm the right to life for all children:
"Tonight, we proudly declare that all children, born and unborn, have a God-given right to life," he said.
? Trump's pro-life accomplishments during his first term have been celebrated by many leaders and non-profits, such as the Susan B. Anthony List, which rates politicians on their support for pro-life measures.
