President Trump on Thursday urged Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham to call former president Barack Obama to testify under oath about what the president has coined "Obamagate" — the alleged weaponization of federal intelligence and law enforcement by the former president to spy on Trump's associates and try and overthrow his presidency in its early days.

Trump tweeted:

If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!

? New developments surrounding the origin of the failed Trump-Russia collusion probe have surfaced recently, including the revelation that Obama officials who filed documents to "unmask" Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn while he was under surveillance by the administration included then-Vice President Joe Biden, then-FBI Director James Comey, intelligence chiefs John Brennan and James Clapper, and then-President Obama's Chief of Staff Denis McDonough.
