As mass anti-government protests raged across Iran Sunday, President Trump took to Twitter to again warn Iranian rulers not to use violence to squelch the demonstrations:
"To the leaders of Iran - DO NOT KILL YOUR PROTESTERS," Trump said. "Thousands have already been killed or imprisoned by you, and the World is watching. More importantly, the USA is watching. Turn your internet back on and let reporters roam free! Stop the killing of your great Iranian people!"
The president also tweeted support for the protesters and a warning to the regime on Saturday night, in Farsi, Iran's native language.
