President Trump's support among black voters rose 9 percentage points during the Republican National Convention, a new Hill-HarrisX poll found.
Of registered black voters surveyed during the August 22-25 poll, 24% said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76% said they disapprove.
Trump's approval rating among black voters is up 9 percentage points from a survey conducted August 8-11, which saw 15% support for the president.
The new survey also found that support among Hispanic voters grew from 30% to 32%. It also saw a 1 percentage point dip in support from overall registered voters, falling to 44% support.
The survey dates included the first two days of the Republican National Convention.
