TV soccer reporter Diego Ordinola and his DirecTV Sports crew were robbed in Ecuador while the cameras were rolling, with their footage capturing the armed robber as he pointed a handgun directly at them.
Ordinola has shared the video of the gunman that was caught on camera outside the Estadio Monumental stadium in Tarqui, Guayaquil.
The armed robber is shown shouting, "Telephone!" while pointing his gun at Ordinola.
The man then raised the gun to the camera operator before grabbing a phone from someone to the right of the screen. The camera kept rolling throughout the robbery and the man was seen being driven away on the back of a motorbike.
"We can't even work in peace," said Ordinola.
It is unclear if there have been any arrests made or if there are any known suspects.
