Twitter has changed its official corporate account on the platform Sunday as a show of solidarity to the Black Lives Matter movement and the protesters currently demonstrating and rioting all across the U.S.
The social media giant's avatar is now a blacked-out version of its blue company logo, its header image is solid black, and its bio reads simply #BlackLivesMatter:
? Protests and riots have engulfed the U.S. — some relatively peaceful, some extremely violent. They began as a demonstration against the death of George Floyd and in many places have descended into all-out riots with cities being burned and people being killed.
