Twitter took down a meme posted by President Trump making fun of Joe Biden, citing a copyright complaint.

The meme was an edited video of Obama responding nonchalantly to an unusual statement from Biden. The quote is from Biden describing his work as a lifeguard in Delaware when he was younger.

"I got hairy legs that turn blonde in the sun, and the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again. They'd look at it… So I learned about roaches, I learned about kids jumping on my lap," Biden said in the video.

The meme is based on an edited Allstate commercial and is still available on YouTube.

Twitter has said previously that it will not remove tweets from world leaders, even if they violate Twitter rules like copyright infringement, if there is a "clear public interest value" in keeping the tweet active.

"Per our copyright policy, we respond to valid copyright complaints sent to us by a rights holder or their authorized representatives," a Twitter spokesperson told Breitbart News concerning the most recent clip.

Twitter previously removed a tweet from Trump that featured a clip of the band Nickelback. That clip also was mocking Biden.
