Two Planned Parenthood clinics in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be closing later this month.
The two clinics are located in Springdale and Western Hills and will close on September 20. Neither locations offer abortion services, a Planned Parenthood official told ABC News.
The closings come less than a month after Planned Parenthood announced they were dropping out of Title X. The federal program recently implemented new restrictions that prohibit clinics from providing abortion referrals and dictates a financial separation between family planning services and abortion services.
There closures would leave five clinics open in the greater Cincinnati and Miami Valley area.
🔦 Ohio recently passed a “heartbeat abortion” ban, which prohibits an abortion after fetal heartbeat can be detected. This can happen around six weeks into a pregnancy.
