A new video released Tuesday by The Center for Medical Progress shows Planned Parenthood workers and affiliates who retrieve baby body parts from the abortion clinics describing under oath the gruesome dissection techniques that take place at the abortion provider, and the reality that baby body parts dissected sometimes have beating hearts.
The latest video includes footage of Perrin Larton, a manager at Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc., confirming her statements in a 2015 video about tissue retrieval and other practices at Planned Parenthood.
The 2015 video included her admission that aborted babies sometimes "fall out" of the birth canal. She said under oath in 2019 that this would happen "once every couple of months" and confirmed an attorney's statement that her definition of a baby being "not alive" meant that it was not moving.
"I can see hearts that are in not in an intact POC [product of conception] that are beating independently," she said.
It is not clear what defines "an intact POC."
Another woman featured in the under-oath video was Dr. Deborah Nucatola, who previously worked as senior director of medical services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Her testimony under oath included a discussion of how she defines viability of a fetus. She stated that the "availability of interventions" that could be used to save a baby if it was born alive at a Planned Parenthood clinic was one factor in determining viability.
