Chris Del Conte, athletic director for the University of Texas, has big plans for his school's upcoming football season. And by big plans, that doesn't just mean what is happening on the field, but also in the stands.

In an online exchange, Del Conte acknowledged that the school intends to have 100% fan attendance.

Like the vast majority of Division I college football teams in 2020, the Longhorns limited their attendance to just 25%.

After the hiring of Steve Sarkisian to be the school's 31st football coach in program history, there is a great deal of renewed excitement in Austin. It is clear that after a devastating cut in revenue as a result of the 2020 pandemic, the school's athletic department is hopeful to capitalize on that fan enthusiasm by inviting them back to their seats at Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium in 2021.
