The U.S. Navy is receiving pushback for adding a surgical mask to the logo it uses on its Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.

The U.S. Navy first introduced the masked eagle logo in a post uploaded on April 20, 2020.

The logo recently saw criticism from some online, including Robert O'Neill, the former leader of SEAL Team Six.
