A captain of the New York Police Department was assaulted by looters outside a Zara store in Manhattan Tuesday night.

Video of the incident shows the captain approach two men, one of whom shoved him down in the middle of a street. The captain's helmet fell off, prompting the rioters to rush toward him while he was on the ground. Other police officers also ran to the scene and began to tussle with the rioters.
