A video showing an ecstatic 6-year-old girl taking her first unassisted steps has gone viral.

“Mom, I can now walk like the other kids,” she told her mother.

Love Johnson has cerebral palsy. Love’s mother, Lovely, captured the video of her daughter walking across the room for the first time without her walker.

“Most of you know my daughter has cerebral palsy and needs her Walker to get around,” Johnson posted on Facebook last week. “She decided to get up and try walking without her walker and braces. My hero is not someone older than me — it’s my 6-year-old princess.”
