ABC World News Tonight featured a heart-warming story Monday evening of the first time Manning James Roldan of Clifton Forge, Virginia, heard music.
Born deaf, baby Manning went through months of tests and surgeries to implant cochlear devices that allowed the 11-month-old to hear for the first time. His mother Noelle had a camera rolling the first time the little guy heard a cartoon theme song.
"To most people, this is just something every baby does, but to me, this is incredible," Noelle said, thanking the medical team. "For him to hear with that device for the first time was just so emotional and so incredible."
