Pilots from a Pakistan International Airlines flight shot amateur cell phone video of what they deemed an "extremely bright UFO."
During an afternoon domestic Airbus A-320 flight from Karachi to Lahore on Saturday, the pilots noticed an object in the sky that was exceptionally bright, "despite the presence of sunlight." The pilots, who thought they might be looking at a "space station" or "artificial planet," reported the UFO immediately and took out a cell phone camera to document it.
A spokesperson for Pakistan International Airlines applauded the pilots for handling the situation appropriately.
"It is too early to say what that object was," the spokesperson said. "In fact, we might not be able to tell what the object was at all. However, something was spotted and it was reported in accordance with the required protocol."
