An organization called U.S. Women's Collective recently organized a protest outside St. Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, Australia, blasting opposition to abortion. The rally coincided with World Down Syndrome Day, a day set aside by human rights advocates to remember the targeted termination of children with the condition.
Objecting to the effort to preserve the life of those with Down syndrome, the Women's Collective chanted provocative slogans outside the cathedral, including,
"F*** the church, f*** the state, we will decide our fate," and "We will win, put the fetus in the bin."
