The Trump administration on Sunday night denounced a gruesome supporter-made video that depicted Donald Trump shooting, stabbing, and killing members of the media and his political opponents generally. The parody video was made from a violent scene in the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service, with faces and news logos superimposed over the faces of the characters in the actual scene.

White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said in a tweet that, though he had not yet seen the video, he “strongly condemns” it based on reports.

The video was shown at American Priority, a conservative political conference. On its website, the organization, which has also disavowed the video and called it “unauthorized,” claimed that it was shown “in a side room” and that conference officials were unaware of its existence until they were contacted by media looking for comment on it.
