The Trump administration this week will reportedly share guidelines on reopening the American economy, a possible turning point in the ongoing economic crisis that has gripped the United States since the coronavirus began spreading.
National Economic Council Chairman Larry Kudlow said on Tuesday that the president "will be making some very important announcements" in the next few days regarding the federal guidelines for restarting economic activity throughout the country.
Virtually every American is under some form of government-mandated house arrest or lockdown policy. Some governors, such as Maryland's Larry Hogan, have issued lockdown orders with no end in sight, while others like Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, who has ordered his state locked down until June 10, have opted for shorter policies.
