A Florida woman was recently pulled from her burning vehicle just in time to save her life, with a police sergeant and a good Samaritan dragging her from the crashed car before the flames could spread to her seat.
Rosie Ramirez, 21, was stuck in her wrecked vehicle, which had slammed into a tree, when it burst into flames. A nearby civilian and a police sergeant who was present at the scene both rushed up to pull her from the wreckage. The sergeant told media that the pair had to "pry the door open" to get her out.
Though alive, Ramirez suffered serious injuries, including several broken bones that necessitated mutiple surgeries.
