Opinion: Abortion: Democrats Put Their Wickedness On Full Display In Last Night’s Debate

The fight to see who has the bigger stick has evolved into who can be the most immoral.

Democrats not only spoke of their pro-abortive stances in last night’s CNN debate, but they lied their whole way through. Harris claiming that pro-life men are “out of touch,” Booker claiming that pro-life laws are trying to “criminalize poverty,” and Gabbard suggesting that pro-life laws will lead to women being “jailed for having a miscarriage.” These outrageous, false allegations lay in the ironic shadow of pro-abortionists’ allegations that the pro-life community is “out of touch.”

They spoke through the typical euphemistic narrative of “women’s reproductive health” and “her body, her choice” while casually neglecting to mention the fact that abortion terminates the life of a baby. No mention of that at all.

The spoiled-rotten attitude of entitlement has poisoned their minds. To democrats, the right to live the way you want trumps the right to live at all.

But the comments that rang saddest to me came from Kamala Harris:

“Women have been given the responsibility to perpetuate the human species. Our bodies were created to do that.”

So far her comments are not only true, they’re inspiring and purposeful. But the virtue of her statement was immediately dressed-down with her follow-through:

“And it does not give any other person the right to tell a woman what to do with that body. It is her body. It is her right. It is her decision.”

Harris’ comments are about as harmonious as braking train wheels on a track.

How can you speak to the beautiful, critical, and powerful responsibility that women have to perpetuate humanity while affirming a woman’s choice to kill the very human you just said she was responsible to birth?

The answer is dark: You simply do not value life. You sacrifice virtue on the altar of political advancement. If you truly valued life and your divinely commissioned role in perpetuating it, then the thought of ending this life prematurely would be appalling. To the circumstances of ectopic pregnancies, there is an obvious discussion to be had there about an exception. But ectopic pregnancies make up less than 2% of abortions. This article refers to the majority. To the point of “my body, my choice,” a woman’s body should be the most safeguarded haven for a baby.

It is in the woman’s body that the baby is developed to viability.

It is in the woman’s body that the baby and the mother first bond.

It is in the woman’s body that the baby is first discovered, identified, and loved.

That said, it should be the first place that the baby is radically protected.

The pro-abortion narrative of the left is the manifestation of evil. It is a power-hungry attempt at gaining control at the expense of innocent life. It is a violent means to a selfish end.

It is by God’s overwhelmingly patient grace, and that alone, that we haven’t suffered dearly for allowing abortion to persist as long as it has.
